In the new Thrasher Art Book

Super honoured to be in the new art book by Thrasher Magazine! I got invited to be part of the badass section in the end, "Friends n Family" which included so many legendary artists and skateboarders!
And then also, in the previous pages of the book, you can see some old art O sent to them back in 2000 n 2002!

Montreal Coloring Book Launch

So this June 9th (5pm to 11pm) I will be having the grand Launch of my new Coloring Book for my own city of Montreal. It will be my first solo exhibition in a few years, and also a coloring party. My friend Barry Walsh (Spoony Bee) will be dj'ing vinyl records and I will be doing a set too!

SO I am renting this spot on 3845 Saint Laurent, so the exhibition will be open for teh next 10 days after, during teh Saint Laurent street sale and Mural (Street Art) Festival.

Kick-ass Kickstarters!

Presently, I have 3 visionary friends raising money with the crowd-funding system of "Kickstarter". Go n check them out, and please pitch in at least one:
1) Alchemistas- a visionary art book including the works by many of the best artist sof this powerful art movement, including myself. Go HERE.

2) Entheon- Alex Grey is building a temple for visionary art in his land in northern New York, but it takes a community to make it happen. He is also having a fundraiser event this Thursday the 16th, where he will be auctioning one of my original drawings. Go HERE.

Divining the Dream Book and show

Yesterday I received in the mail my copy of Divining the Dream, a book coming out of Paris, France, that features a worldwide selection of Visionary art. I have a page in there so I'm pretty stoked.

The Skateboard Mag (from California), included my book in the Product Review of their new issue. pretty happy about that. American skate mags can be difficult to infilter sometimes.

Montreal Book Launch!!!

This coming Friday the 16th wil be my big Book Launch at Under Pressure's street art gallery "Fresh Paint" (180 Ste. Catherine East) in downtown Montreal. I will be selling and singing 100 copies of my book. I will also be showing a bunch of my skateboard graphics and my friend Barry Walsh will be showing his Boom Box Collection. For Music we will have Mossman (reggae) and Spoony Bee (hip hop). There will be free beers provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon and Vans will be raffling some shoes too. So make sure to come by for a fun time with us!!

Moksha Art Fair Activities in Miami

Here is the official Flyer for the Moksha Art Fair, happening in Miami next week. I will be showing art with great sof visionary art like the Greys, Venosas, Henson, Sage, Thompson, etc.

Other Events I will be part of there are:

-Pannel Discussion (with other visionary artists) and then I will unveil the new Moksha symbol Painting they commissioned me. That will go down Thursday the 1st of December, from 8:30 to 10 pm, at 7th Circuit Studios (228 N.E. 59th Street in Miami, 33137).

-Slideshow Speech- An hour comedy routine about my art and life, with pretty pictures to watch meanwhile. This is happening Friday the 2nd at noon, also at 7th Circuit Studios. And of course my Book Launch will happen later that day (4 to 6) at The Filmore in Maimi Beach.

-I will also be painting some murals along my fellow Montreal artist crew of En Masse at Scope Art Fair and Primal Flight, so look for me working there at random times!!

Illustrations in Maple Vedas, book release

My friend Gandhar Chakravarty is a great poet and he just published his second book called "The Maple Vedas". Inside that book you can find a bunch of my illustrations he is using to illustrate his words.
He is launching it tomorrow Wednesday September 22 from 5 to 8 at Librarie Olivieri on 5219 Cote des Nieges, Montreal.

Show with Other at Yves Laroche Gallery

Other is one of Montreal's best street artists that kills it at many styles and travels the world doing his thing. He has recently published a book and will be releasing it at the popular gallery Yves Laroche on September 30th. For this he invited a few of his artist friends, including me, to show art on paper. Super stoked on that!

To be Published with Schiffer Books!!

This last week I got a call from Peter Schiffer, who is the Publisher of Schiffer books. They put out awesome books, like the Jim Phillips (artist for Santa Cruz skateboards) book I am enjoying in this photo.
I was uber-stoked to hear from him that Jim Phillips himself had recomended the book I have been working on for a year, and that he wants to publish it!! This is huge as my 250 color page art book will be widely distributed worldwide next year. A dream come true. i will let ya know when it's out!!

Positive Creations Book

These days, in between various projects I am putting together a full on color book of all my art. It is already looking very sick, if I may say so myself. Next step is to find a publisher. Any suggestions?
