Cover of the Reggae Fest Guide

Super stoked that the new issue of the Reggae Festival Guide is out, cause I was commissioned to do the cover for it this year!! I hadn't done a portrait of my beloved Bob Marley since I was a teen, so it was a pleasure to be asked to do this. Out now, so go and check the mag online HERE!!

Live painting in Long Beach, California

A new trailer just came out for SK8 FACE, an upcoming documentary about skate art. In this video you can see th emost epic line up of legendary skaters n artists, and in the middle of it all, looking real confiden? Me. San Diego Artventure Webpisode

REALIZE zine

This week, the new issue, #8, of Realize (art n skate) Zine from Cali, just came out. I have the cover and am stoked, along an 8 page interview. I also interviewed Kenny Reed n Labrona. Lots of fun content. The photocopy version is circulating skate shops but you can already check it online here.

Last days in San Diego

 So for the past week n a half I've been cruising around San Diego n areas linking up with the local skate scene n painting. I've already dropped murals at Seedless Clothing's backyard mini ramp, Jake Brown music studio (inside the DC shoes monster ramp) and at Fabrizio Santos' backyard skate complex. You can check all the pics on my Facebook.
Anyways, my solo art exhibition has been up at the Artlab for a week now and tomorrow is the last day, with a closing party. I will also be right across the street spray painting a mural during the day, as you can see from this ad in the weekly newspaper/mag "City Beat". So yeah, if you're in San Diego, get yourself there so I can say hello and/or goodbye!

Creation Skateboards Trailer!!

I am stoked that I can finally share the trailer for the Creation Skateboards video I have been directing the past few months. As you can see it will be lot sof fun, with a solid skate team, good art n animations and quality music (like Frank Zappa here). New Creation Catalog!!!

For the last few months I have been working super hard putting together the new catalog of Creation Skateboards, for the Fall 2012-Winter 2013 season. Check it HERE.
Though I only have 2 new graphics of my own art, I curated the art of many friends (like Peru, Entes-Pesimo, Sego, Android Jones, Randal Roberts, Adi, Bobby Brown, etc.) and laid it down as board graphics. I also managed to hunt down the legendary traveling pro skater Kenny Reed to be part of our team, which will show the world that Creation is not only still alive, but growing. I thank you for your support and if you want any of this niceness for your feet or wall, please ask your local skate shop to hook it up for you! Skate shops will only order if they see a demand from the streets, so it's in your hands.

New Blotter Art Available!

 In my recent trip to LA I got to meet Ken Kasey's son Zane. He still drives the famous "Further" bus that Ken and his band of Merry Pranksters used to cross the states in 1964 doing acid everywhere. It was also featured in Tom Wolfe's famous book "The Electric Kool-Aid Test". Zane now sells blotter art on the back of this historical bus, which now include some of my own pieces in that mix. Lil G Group Show

I will be part of this very cool group exhibition this Wednesday in San Diego. They gave us these new Boom box vinyl toys where ipods can go in n play music. Should be interesting to see how each artists did it up.
