New Press!

So I was in a couple of magazines last month. This awesome Contemporary magazine from France called Hey! had a 10 page spotlight on my art, with a nice article n all.
Then High Times magazine reviewed my new coloring book, so I was stoked on that too.

MURAL Festival

Last week I was the last minute addition to MURAL Festival, which is Canada's first Street Art (do not confuse with graffiti) big scale event. I  was given a huge wall to paint besides local wall killers like Other, Labrona, Botkin, Omen, A-shop, etc. and international heavyweights like Roa, Gaia, Pixel Pancho, Phlegm, etc. What an honor and though a hard week of work it was super fun and rewarding.

The aftermath was great too, cause my art made it into several places including CTV news, The Huffington Post, Brooklyn Street Art, Vandalog, 33Mag, Streets are saying things, Daily Motion, Bizarre Beyond Belief magazine, T+E blog, 24h newspaper  etc, etc. I was also instagramed by the original graffiti photographer Martha Cooper and the infamous Instagrafite.
So yeah, Im stoked!

Big Article in The Gazette Newspapaer

Yesterday Saturday, a 3/4 page about me and my art came out in The Gazette, Montreal's main newspaper. You can read it, and check more photos and even a little, yet very nicely shot video interview on the Gazette site: H E R E ! Im especially stoked on reaching the mainstream on this one.

New Expose Mag

The new issue of Expose Skate Mag just came out. In this issue there is a sick pic of my good friend (and Positive Creations Clothing Team Member) Barry Walsh. Behind him is a spray paint piece I did in that yard. Also in that issue, I have an arts profile and interview I made of my brother Peru 143 and his art. So go n get a copy!!

Concret Wave Magazine apperences

I just got the summer 2011 edition of Concrete Wave (longboarding) Magazine. I was happy to see a few appearances of my art like a flyer with a commissioned painting for them, a review on my DVD and the Peta collabo board I made for the Vans Warped Tour. More spiritual skate art for them in the works!!

To be Published with Schiffer Books!!

This last week I got a call from Peter Schiffer, who is the Publisher of Schiffer books. They put out awesome books, like the Jim Phillips (artist for Santa Cruz skateboards) book I am enjoying in this photo.
I was uber-stoked to hear from him that Jim Phillips himself had recomended the book I have been working on for a year, and that he wants to publish it!! This is huge as my 250 color page art book will be widely distributed worldwide next year. A dream come true. i will let ya know when it's out!!

New Decover Magazine

Last week the new issue of Decover Magazine came out. This is a big magazine that is totally dedicated to showing the art of Montreal. It is free to pick up in many stores or bars.
