New Israel n Palestine Artventure Video!

Super stoked to share with you the latest webisode of my travel series!! This one covers my trip to Israel and Palestine. Because of the confusing situation between these 2 countries, I united the reports into one video, as to hear what is happening on both sides of the wall. I just listened to the people. I believe that communication and understanding is needed on both sides in order to find some peace. But anyways, I think people might hate on me no matter what I present here, so I share with you our discoveries, along the art we dropped on the way. Enjoy!

Cover of the Reggae Fest Guide

Super stoked that the new issue of the Reggae Festival Guide is out, cause I was commissioned to do the cover for it this year!! I hadn't done a portrait of my beloved Bob Marley since I was a teen, so it was a pleasure to be asked to do this. Out now, so go and check the mag online HERE!!

New Headspace Items

We are now offering new jogging pants, thanks to my friends at The Headspace. They have 4 deep pockets and are made out of high quality polyester fibres (made from recycled bottles) and is fleece lined inside.

They also just came out with a hemp hat for the legendary reggae band Third World using my art!!

Creation Board Launch in Montreal

Yesterday, my friend Barry Walsh and me threw another one of our series of event here in Montreal. Sorry I forgot to post it here before, but you probably saw it on Facbook.

Anyways, it was a great bash where lots of local art n skate heads came together for good vibes, music, drinx, art n danxin.
Underworld let us do it at their new bar. Barry n Alex Forbes (Vans Canada) spun vinyl classics. Peru and Other (in Montreal for 1 night only) joined me to exhibit original art on the wall, along some of the new boards of the Creation catalogs.

It was a great time and I'll post more pics on my Facebook soon.

New Creation Skateboards Catalog

For the last three months I have been Brand manager for Creation Skateboards, and in that time I have tried to make this brand my own, at least stylistically. This week I was finally able to show some of the fruits of my labour by releasing the new Spring/Summer 2012 Catalog. Other than using all sustainable material like recycled wood, bamboo and hemp I got art from some of the best visionary and street artists like Luke Brown, Mear One, Bue, Other, Carey Thompson, Xavi, Mark Henson, Amanda Sage, etc.

I also recruited my good friend Barry Walsh to be Creation's newest Pro, which was hard to keep a secret all this time! In these months I've been building the media to launch this news with a big bang, and it has been. Holy Piby Album Artwork

I recently had a ton of my art be part of the CD cover, booklet n package of Holy Piby, Argentina's biggest reggae band. In this album "Solo Imaginacion" (Only Imagination), they had guests like Gregory Isaacs, Anthony B and many more. Whistler Screening of my Movie

Next week, Friday the 21st of October, Kosmik Konnection with be doing a screening of my documentary film in the ultra-mega-cool town of Whistler, British Columbia. Live painting at a Midnite show tonight in Oakland

Tonight, August 11th, I will be at "The New Parish" in Oakland, California, doing live painting onstage with Ras Terms, during a Midnite concert. Should be great!
The opening act is Joseph Israel, who is a talented musician who performed at the Tribe 13 gallery (where my solo show is currently hanging) last night (but I forgot to mention it in my blog, so here's the flyer). Reggae is spiritual, fun n positive so it agrees with my work and happy to join forces with that vibe.
