VBS TV is the very popular Internet Tv station of Vice magazine. They have some very sick shows that include underground cultures like art, skating, graffiti, etc. One of these shows is Skate Canada that goes over the different skate scenes of our country. The latest episode just came out n the Montreal one, and its great. Im extra stoked cause my art can be spotted in different parts, and even me in there. Here are some stills from that report, but for the full show you can see here: http://www.vbs.tv/en-ca/watch/skate-canada/gatorade-montreal-go-skate-all-day-pt-1

En Masse Jam at John Abott College
Earlier this week I spent 3 days in Saint Anne, painting a mega mural with 5 other "En Masse" members and a bunch of college students from John Abbott. It was a pretty fun time and we where happy with the art that came out of it!
A couple days later I got the news that one of the students that helped with this mural got run over by a train to his death, while doing graffiti in a Montreal yard. Sad.

Toronto Events this coming weekend
This upcoming weekend I will be going to Toronto for a couple of fun events. The first one is a Sneak preview Screening of my new documentary, Positive Creations. The editing of it is pretty much done, we are just mastering the sound and creating the bonus disc before producing the DVD, to be on sale in October. The Screening will help us get some feedback on what can be improved in the film. It' is happening this Friday September 10th at 6pm sharp, at Longboard Living Store (74 Oxford St. in the Kensington Market). For more info go here.
The second event will be a Block Party in the Kensington Market (289 College) where I will be doing some live painting and products sales at the Longboard Living Table there. So stop by and say hi!

New graff
Being a hot sunny summer in Montreal doesn't really make it easy staying at home doing art indoors, so I've been doing more n more spray paint art in different spots, preferably where I can also skate. I recently got a small sponsorship of Sabotaz cans (brand from Greece) making it affordable. Here's a couple of pics. One i did this morning at my local skate park (Rosemont) for my friend Nilton Neves' upcoming book. The other one is one of the pieces i did at the new Urban ambush Yard, a skate paradise in the underground of our city.
For more pics of new art I've done lately, please go to my facebook fanpage here.

My Spiritual Wedding
A week ago I got married to the Love of my Life. Though this news isn't business oriented, I chose to mention it in my blog because it is something important for my life, and in a way it was an art expression in itself.
The intimate native American/Celtic ceremony was a magical experience, let by a Algonquin tribe elder. It was beautiful and I cried like a baby. If you would like to see the full album of it, you can go here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=469862&id=691325380&l=11ac9a158a

Alchemeyez show in Hawaii
I just got back from the Big Island of Hawaii where I spent a very magical week. Other than the beautiful weather and Nature of this volcanic island in middle of the sea, I also delved much into art. On my first full day there I had a lil solo event at Oasis Skateshop where I signed boards, black-books and then did some live art, a trippy fish with spray paint.
Late rthat week I joined over 20 of the best Visionary artists at a nature retreat centre, for Alchemeyez, a Visionary art congress, basically a festival where we the artists flown there where teh focus. It was epic. The art by everyone (including Roberto Venosa, Martina Hoffman, Alex Grey, Carey Thompson, Luke Brown, Xavi, etc.) was great and all of us did live painting together at one point. I also took a painting workshop with the Venosas and heard speeches by many of my favorite artists. There was much more enjoyed, but I will let the images do the speaking. Go Here for a full album of the event.
