Under Pressure Street Art Exhibition

I'm usually never around Under Pressure, which is Montreal's legendary graffiti n hip hop festival. But this year I will be part of the street art gallery of that festival with a installation piece inside and a painted panel outside the building. I won't be around for the opening, but happy to get my name in the awesome lineup of street artists. As you can read on the flyer it's on August 13th, 7 to 10pm at 180 Saint Catherine East. Enjoy!!!

HUH T-shirt Design

Last year I made this pretty sick t-shirt design for Montreal Skate clothing brand HUH (Have you heard). A fun photo shoot with them followed with Photographer Danny Stevenson. MOMENT OF TRUTH, Cali Solo Exhibition

This is going to be my first SOLO exhibition in California, and pretty much my biggest yet. Happening at the awesome Tribe 13 Gallery (221 N. State Street) in Ukiah, I will be present there to make installations n murals so the attendants can enjoy a Positive Creations artistic explosion for the senses.
The Opening party is on August 5th with HEYOKA as the headliner DJ. Show runs until August 26th, so don't miss out this unique event!!!!

War of Art group show.

This comming Thursday July the 7th is a group show witah bunch of solid MTL street artists. Called the "War of Art" it happening at RIalto Theatre (5723 Ave Du Parc). It is free from noon to 5pm and later it's 15$ cause there will be breakdancing battles n stuff, with all proceeds going to charity. See you there!!

The Gnar Down!

Last weekend I went to the opening of the Urban Ambush Yard for this season, which includes a 8 foot ramp. A bunch of great photographers showed up to capture teh session, and my sketchy moves got in teh mix, yet always my spray paint pieces behind. New Spray paint Shit

Now that Summer is here I am back at doing large scale art with spray paints. Today I hit up the infamous No Damn Good Skate park in NDG, a cool Montreal hood I lived in for years. The place is totally DIY, done by skaters for skaters to rip during our harsh winters or whenever. I made them this "Worshiper of Fun" in the entrance to their L shaped bowl, next to a Ben Tour piece. Locals where stoked and I got to skate a bit.

Los Angeles group show.

Later this month I will be part of a group show in the infamous "Temple of Visions" gallery in Los Angeles, California. The show includes artists like Mear One, Adam Scot Miller, Luke Brown, Amanda Sage, etc.

Opening is the 25th of June and the address is 719 South Spring Street, Los Angeles. Facebook event page is http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=223232051029914 . I can't make the opening but should be able to visit it sometime in August.

Official Documentary Launch

This week is the official launch of my new Documentary DVD. With 1000 copies arriving at my door I gotta move them fast, so please order your copy at www.positivecreationsmovie.com/buy .

Montreal group show this Thursday

This Thursday June 9th I will be participating in a group exhibition to raise funds for the visionary art gallery at this summer's "Open Minds Festival". Organized by my friend April Anna (who mad eteh flyer, it will have around 25 artists, mostly from Montreal, and surroundings, have cool musical performances and a raffle with cwazy prizes.

Slideshow Speech in Hawaii Video

A week ago I was on the big island of Hawaii, for Alchemeyez Visionary Art Congress. Happening in the grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel, I gave a one hour slideshow speech, that was definitely not long enough, but still enjoyed by the public. It was about my artistic journey, and done in a freestyle stand up comedy style as to entertain while teaching. A BIG THANX to David Hedriana for filming this and to Ben Jackson for editing into one smooth piece! Enjoy.

Alchemyez 2011 Report

This last week I was back on the Big Island of Hawaii with 30 of the top Visionary artists for Alchemeyez Visionary Art Congress. This time it was at the Hilton, which was mega fancy of a setting, and shocking at the beginning, but as I got used to it I mostly enjoyed it and had a good time with the fans, and my fellow co-creators.

The art was great as usual, and most of us did live painting during the endless epic dj parties. I also did a one hour slideshow presentation about my artistic journey, which ended up being more like stand up comedy. Everybody laughed tons and left there energized and inspired, or so they told me.

Social Face Working Group Expo

This May 20th up to June 17th, I will be part of a group show in Saranac Lake, New York. Organized by artist Nip Rogers, he invited 40 different artist friends he met on Facebook and did portraits of all of us (as seen on the poster).

The exhibition is happening at the Fenimore Gallery (in the Proctor Theatre) so go n check it out if you're in the area!!!

My art in David Icke's new DVD

A new 7 hour speech of David Icke in London has just come out on DVD. ON teh 4th disc, he talks about the evolution of our species and he used one of my most popular paintings to illustrate his point. So honored!! It's on minute 33: 50 if you want to check it out.
David Icke has never been my #1 consciousness research speaker cause he focuses so much on the negative side and gets so mad about it, but I do must admit that I agree with him in most he says and appreciate his work helping wake people up. Enjoy the video.

Moment of Truth, new mega painting

I have been working on this puppy from mid December, until February 11th (Egypt's liberation), for 55 days exactly. I tried to step up my techniques game by adding airbrush (thanx to Luc Bouchard for lending me his pump) and oil paints (thanx to Kevin Ledo for the refresher sessions).

The piece is about a normal urban human as the middle of it's reality, at a crucial time where all parallel realities are open. As opposed to past mega paintings that focus more on worldwide and ancient cultures, I wanted to give more props to our own contemporary North American cultures. The man has a city landscape skate jam session going on to his right/east and a rocky mountain rain-forest surf session to his left/west. I also included graffiti and tattoos as art cultures I appreciate in our areas. The man is holing a power ball of light that has a crystal scull inside, the ancient technology we need to balance out the vibration and create the rainbow bridge to a better reality. To the left he has a futuristic ET , equipped with a Nintendo Power Glove, Zapper and Flux Capacitor (props to video game and psi-fi cultures) and to the right he has a multicultural Goddess Priestess with a mega crystal. Both shoot rays to activate his heart, so the evolution is complete.
Above we have a more higher aspect of the God face, complete with flower/plant soul, freedom bird consciousness, 3d flower of life and a votex into infinity! We also see the Sun and Moon on each side of the male/female duality of this canvas, as well as a dieing planet with blood earth and black oil sea (top left), and a pure healed earth (top right) that is upside down cause it is after the axis flip.

Sings of our Times

Most doors on my block have the "No Flyers" sticker on them, yet the “Publisac” delivery man will hang their bags on our stoops and front fences instead. It looks horrible and it is super disrespectful towards us. Publisac is such a waste of resources: paper and plastic, trees and oil, and for what? Some stupid coupons nobody wants? Maybe I shouldn’t be so aggro with my installation here, but I just need them to get the message clearly and stop leaving their wasteful garbage all over my block and our city.

My Art on VBS TV!

VBS TV is the very popular Internet Tv station of Vice magazine. They have some very sick shows that include underground cultures like art, skating, graffiti, etc. One of these shows is Skate Canada that goes over the different skate scenes of our country. Visionary Group Shows in San Francisco & Miami

In the next few weeks I am participating in a couple Visionary Art group exhibitions.

The first one is Tribe 13's 7th Interdimensional Art Show. It goes down Saturday November 20th at Madrone Studios (1417 15th St, San Francisco, California).

The second group show is the Moksha Art Fair, happening between the 1st & 5th of December, at 7th Circuit Studios (228 NE 54th Ave, Miami, Florida).

Both these shows will be epic with the best visionary artists and performers. So if youre in those areas (like I wish I could be) don't miss out.
